Image database and archive management system

Aequitas™ IDA is more than just an image database, it is an image management system which can form the core of an integrated image archive. It can be configured directly to take information from hardware such as sophisticated microscopes or other hardware with Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) capability.

Also, it can be used to control other software applications and suitable hardware via DDE links. This package has been designed to be easy to use and take full advantage of the features available within the Microsoft Windows™ environment. The user interface and form layout can be designed and modified by the user with a simple-to-use, object orientated authoring toolset which forms part of the package.

Features

High quality images stored and retrieved with text records on a personal computer Management of removable media. This means that in a manual system the user is prompted to enter the disc or cartridge containing the requested record, if it is not already installed on the system. It also means that there is the capability to use WORM or CD-ROM jukeboxes in larger automated systems Network/multi-user capability Security - use of security codes to allow different levels of security access Easily user-configurable with object oriented authoring - no programming knowledge is required.
